The T36 shoots up to 2000 lumens out to 303 meters using a CREE XHP35 HI LED, powered by an included 21700 battery. This light uses a green/red LED just above the side switch to indicate when it is in need of recharging, with a USB-C port on the opposite side. The body is knurled to allow bare hands a solid grip without the T36 rubbing them raw.

The light's body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, given a hard-anodized finish. It is able to resist impacts from 1.2 meters high and can go 5 meters below water's surface before the internals are affected.
