The EC65 is powered by an included 21700 5100mAh battery, with 4 CREE XHP35 HI LEDs shooting up to 4000 lumens for 1 minute* before stepping down to 900 lumens for 2 hours. The EC65 is built with a charging port that takes USB-C heads, allowing faster than average battery recharging speed. The mode switching is controlled with just one button, with a Strobe that does not interfere with the standard modes.

The EC65 is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, the durable body being given a hard-anodized finish and knurling to keep from rubbing bare hands raw. The head is able to vent heat from the spaces around the LEDs, but keeping the EC65 on higher outputs for too long is not good for it or the user.
