The HL60R is a headlamp that allows you to charge the included 18650 2600mAh battery anywhere you go through the micro-USB port. The headband included is soft and adjustable, along with being able to slip around your neck or be bundled up into a bag without issue. For light, the HL60R has one main LED and a red light, lasting 100 hours and being more for alerting nearby people than lighting up your path at night. For that, you'll want to use the Eco mode. All modes are available by using the side switch.

Also of note is the Luminus SST40 LED, which allows better color rendering than the cool white of most other lights you'll see. At max, you can use it to shoot 950 lumens out 116 meters for 48 minutes. For the HL60R's body, it has been machined from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and is able to stand up to the rigors of hiking, camping, spelunking, or even going into a warehouse basement.
