Upgraded to new standards, Nitecore's i2 charger has a simplified UI and display that is easy to use and understand. 4 LEDs on each side let you know how energized your Li-ion or NiMH battery is. If you accidentally slip in a non-rechargeable battery or a rechargeable in the wrong way, the i2 will cease charging and alert you to that fact by blinking the LEDs until the problem is fixed. And since the slots are individually charged, you don't have to worry about the full charging of one affecting the other slot.

The i2 is manufactured from durable materials that are resistant to damage, the sliders being made from polished copper to enhance connectivity and reduce heat when charging, with vents on the sides to ease the heat from the electronics inside. Thermal controls watch to make sure that neither the batteries nor the innards overheat.
