The P30i has a large head as this is a spotlight. It is meant to go out in the dark for search and rescue operations, or just in the dark outdoors to see your way back to camp. The inner workings have been upgraded to allow the P30i to survive being attached to a firearm better than most standard lights (firearm attachment mount sold separately). Having a beam that shoots out to 1000 meters long, and thanks to the wide head also quite wide, you'll be able to find a lot of targets or tents with this CREE XHP35 HI LED's performance in hand.

This flashlight is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, given a military-grade hard-anodization. This and the diamond knurling on the body allow it to sit easy in your grip. The included 21700 battery is rechargeable through the port on the tailcap, which is also where the included corded switch connects to make turning the P30i on/off while it is attached to a firearm easy.
