This slim light uses a new battery pack from Fenix that has a USB-C port built-in to it. Using this included battery pack, or the included AA batteries, the LD22 V2 can shine a light while being held with ease. You do have to remove the battery pack to charge it, but this gives you the option of using standard batteries while you wait for the pack to finish charging. The LD22 V2 also has two buttons to control the light, with the tailcap handling power and the switch on the head changing modes.
